Lots and Lots of Students

(In the photos are students at SVDP-ALC.)
Today we outdid ourselves at SVDP-ALC; we had one of the largest classes yet with over 17 students present at one time. We have come a long way from when we started with just two students right after Katrina. Already in just the past three months we had two new GED graduates from our school, and we hope to have more soon.
We had our first ever student Writing Contest last month which dealt with our pen pal program with the US Antarctic Program at South Pole Station. And we had our first ever school field trip to the National World War ll Museum (D-Day Museum). We plan to have more field trips soon.
My, we have grown...
Adrian
